This soban is inspired by gub-i, a Korean word that describes gentle curves and flowing lines. Based on this idea, we developed a simple curved form with a natural flow and used it as the main design language.

The legs are made by repeating and connecting three identical modules. Each module has the same shape but is placed in a different direction, so the curves appear differently depending on the viewing angle. This creates a soft and stable overall form.

The inside and outside are finished with different lacquer colors to create contrast. A circular opening at the center of each leg reveals part of the inner structure.
