Moum Tools is a collection of writing objects inspired by the shapes of Hangul letters.
The designs are based on the balanced forms of consonants such as ㅎ, ㅊ, and ㅅ, letters made by adding strokes like ㅁand ㅍ, and the simple straight line of the vowel. These letter shapes were reinterpreted so that form and function come together naturally.
The collection includes objects for holding and storing writing tools, such as trays, paperweights, pen cases, pencil holders, pencil sharpeners, and multi-purpose boxes. Wood, which naturally changes over time, is used as the main material, and leather is added to areas that are touched often. This creates a warm, soft feeling and makes the objects comfortable for everyday use.
